If a patient falls in hospital and hits their head, they require an urgent CT scan within one hour if any of the following symptoms are present: ⭐GCS ↓13 or ↓15 2 hours after injury ⭐Focal neurological deficit ⭐Any suspected fracture ⭐Seizure, vomit or amnesia

If patients fall in hospital with suspected trauma that require diagnostics, a Falls emergency call must always be put out to ensure we do not run the risk of missing any injuries in a timely manner
