“I was walking by the House of Parliament, and I checked my phone because my mum messaged me. This group of tourists looked at me and said, could you be anymore Asian and get off your phone. I’ve never been rendered speechless until that day”

“I remember this one time I was walking down the streets with some of my friends, and I didn’t know one of the people that was with us that well. We walk by an Asian girl and he goes like, oh is that your sister”

“I grew up in my home country, Nigeria, with the people I’m most comfortable with.The one thing I see that is a bit different to where I come from is that maybe everyone wants to get going. Where I come from, we pay particular attention to saying good morning and good afternoon.”

Where I’m from in India everyone has the same religion and race. In comparison to Dubai where I live, it’s quite mixed which I think is better. I prefer communities that consist of mixed cultures. #lborobleedspurple
