📢 News from the GE-Housatonic River Superfund Site: Beneath Silver Lake in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, a protective sediment cap covers the lake bottom. Over the past 2 weeks, crews placed clean sand on lake bed areas requiring additional material to help meet cleanup standards.
