As part of mental health awareness week, we have been speaking to young people about strategies they can use when they are not feeling great! One of the things we spoke about was creating positive affirmations and we gave young people affirmation cards! #mentalhealth#awareness

Busy Thursday, a number of safeguarding conversations with professionals. LCSP meeting, food shopping for youth club,followed by meeting with NEET young people and youth club session with 62 young people! All while been shadowed as part of youth service review#lifeofayouthworker

Today we spent time supporting a young man on a one to one basis. We taught him how to cook fried chicken his request and then played Uno. Providing a safe space and support for the young person! #youthwork
