On Wednesday, we proudly hosted the Benjamin Franklin Medal in Electrical Engineering Symposium, honoring Kurt Petersen's pioneering research and development of micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) technology.

Congrats to our ESE senior design teams who shined at last week’s SEAS Demo Day! Teams LATTICE, Sync Labs, and HUE all delivered great demos, with Team LATTICE earning the Technology and Innovation Award & Sync Labs took home the Grand Prize at the Venture Lab Startup Challenge!

ESE internship spotlight - Katya Mazurenko! Katya did their summer internship at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) through the SULI program.

ESE Internship Spotlight - Dhruva Jindal! Dhruva interned at MUNCH Industries which is a food automation startup founded by a Penn ESE alum. They're building Orble, an automated boba tea vending machine that freshly cooks pearls and makes fully customizable drinks on demand.
