Laurence Mulard, head of the Chemistry of Biomolecules lab at Institut Pasteur, since 1887, presented the journey, or adventure, from basic to translational science, for a synthetic glycan-based bacterial vaccine candidate.

Happy to host the two-day NATURE-ETN Symposium at Chimie ParisTech | PSL Université PSL. Many thanks to all speakers for their fantastic insights on the commercialisation of compounds/technologies discovered in academia. Fantastic inspiration for the students and PIs!

Last evening, the NATURE-ETN group had a reception at the magnificent Chimie ParisTech library, with poster presentations from our ESRs. Thanks a million to the Gasser Group team for organising this!

In the first talk of day 2, we had the privilege to hear from Marie Dutreix from Institut Curie, who shared her drug development journey from bench to bedside, notably through the creation of the start-up DNA Therapeutics.
