The MACRAMÉ Project just passed its 18-months review meeting European Commission HaDEA, before presenting its R&I results MaterialsWeek in Cyprus. ... hard work, but so rewarding to see the fabulous Project advancements #graphene #Advanced_Materials #SSbD.

We had the pleasure to present an update on the progress of the MACRAMÉ Project at the 24th Meeting of the Working Party on Manufactured Nanomaterials OECD ➡️ Better Policies for Better Lives in Paris, introducing our new sibling projects CHIASMA, INSIGHT-Project.org, and PINK-Project.eu.

Thank you to AcumenIST & Bundesanstalt für Arbeitsschutz und Arbeitsmedizin for highlighting the latest results & impact of the MACRAMÉ Project HaDEA European Commission. Special thanks to @BMUV for organising & hosting this insightful Behördenklausur (closed governmental meeting) in Berlin.

Unique, computer-readable identifiers are of utmost importance to the advancement of our work in the assessment of #safety and #sustainability of chemicals & materials. – Thank you, InChI_Trust for providing a platform on which to further develop their applicability & use.

Meet the MACRAMÉ Team: GAIKER Centro Tecnológico is a private non-profit organisation devoted to R&I and the provision of innovative technological solutions, applying cellular and molecular technologies to study the efficacy and safety of AdMas and chemicals: bit.ly/MACRAMÉ-GAIKER.

CONGRATS to our partners Empa, Particles@BarriersLab & Nanointercell (NICe) Lab - Empa on the landmark pub: Bridging the gap: Innovative human-based in vitro approaches for nanomaterials hazard assessment and their role in safe and sustainable by design, risk assessment, and life cycle assessment.

MACRAMÉ is providing input to the OECD ➡️ Better Policies for Better Lives WPMN Expert Workshop on Graphene (Family Materials); Partner TEMASOL presented an 'Evaluation of Early4AdMa for graphene-epoxy composites with a focus on end of life', and AcumenIST, @BAuA, @RIVM, TEMASOL are co-chairing discussions.

It was a great honour to contribute to the 5th SSbD Stakeholder Workshop (research-and-innovation.ec.europa.eu/events/upcomin…) & to set the way forward. There is still a lot of work ahead of us, but we feel part of a great European Commission initiative to improve safety & sustainability for everybody. Thank you
