The voices of civil society matter and need to be heard to advance normalisation of relations across society. Very happy to sit down with both Kosovo Albanian and Kosovo Serb representatives to hear their ideas and point of views, including on the implementation of Ohrid.

Had good separate discussions with the parties who won seats in the last elections according to the official results Srpska Lista and Nenad Rašić about the position, concerns and wishes of the Kosovo Serbs in Kosovo.

Shedding a light on the fate of the remaining missing persons is a humanitarian necessity. The families still waiting to learn about their loved ones deserve closure. This is why missing persons is a priority for me in the Dialogue.

Before leaving Kosovo, I stopped by Merdare - a state of the art crossing point built by 🇪🇺. Time to step up the cooperation to also modernize all other crossing points between Kosovo and Serbia.

Today in Belgrade, I met with Александар Вучић, Foreign Minister Марко Ђурић, and Chief Negotiator Петар Петковић as part of my mandate. Appreciated hearing their views on the next steps and highlighted the importance of continuous engagement and progress in the Dialogue.

Interesting meeting with Kathryne Bomberger at ICMP in The Hague today. Got a very good insight in their work on state-of-the-art DNA analysis crucial to resolving issues related to Missing Persons’ cases.

Good to be back in Kosovo for a quick working visit and discussion with Chief Negotiator Besnik Bislimi on our ongoing efforts in the Dialogue. Now off to Belgrade to meet with Chief Negotiator Петар Петковић.

I continued my working visit in Belgrade by meeting with Foreign Minister Марко Ђурић, Minister for European Integration Nemanja Starović and Chief Negotiator Петар Петковић. Had good discussions on our latest efforts and areas for progress in the Dialogue.

Always good to be in Berlin 🇩🇪. Very good first meetings with State Secretary Géza von Geyr and Chief Foreign Policy Adviser to Chancellor Merz, Günter Sautter. We discussed how to advance normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia. Grateful for 🇩🇪 support to 🇪🇺 efforts

Back in the Western Balkans. I will be visiting Serbia, Kosovo and North Macedonia in the next two days and engage with governments and the civil society on their EU path. The Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue is a must in moving forward. Now is the time to re-engage.

My message to the authorities in Belgrade is clear. I want to see Serbia advancing towards the EU. For that, political leaders must deliver the necessary reforms and clarify the strategic direction. This is best done by restoring trust and staying true to democratic principles.

In Belgrade, I talked to engaged members of youth organisations and civil society. I heard their call and their aspirations — for fairness, for accountability. So that Serbia can fulfil its full potential. Their energy is needed to find a way forward.

I encourage all parties in Kosovo to break the political stalemate and swiftly form a government. Leaders need to set aside divisions and prioritise the future of Kosovo. My press conference in Pristina ↓

Hosted the Kosovo Chief Negotiator Besnik Bislimi for a meeting in preparation of a trilateral Dialogue meeting in Brussels today. Discussed a wide range of issues important for the normalisation of relations with Serbia. Plan to host a trilateral meeting soon.

Continued bilateral meetings today with Serbian Chief negotiator Петар Петковић in preparation of a trilateral one. We discussed a number of issues affecting normalisation of relations with Kosovo.

Hosted a long meeting of Chief Negotiators of Kosovo and Serbia in Brussels. Spoke about advancing the normalisation of their relations in preparation of a high-level Dialogue meeting, pending implementation obligations, and current issues. Agreed to continue the discussion soon.

Had a full-day working visit to 🇸🇮 for in-depth talks with Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon and officials dealing with the Western Balkans. Slovenia’s support and active role in the region remains vital for the Dialogue and regional stability 🤝🇪🇺

Spoke to Александар Вучић in the margins of GLOBSEC. Discussed a number of concrete steps needed to advance normalisation of relations with Kosovo.
