The EU/Thailand FTA negotiation and its future approval by European Parliament was the focus of talks between Chair สรัสนันท์ อรรณนพพร/ Saratsanun Unnopporn and INTA Committee Press Standing Rapporteur Kathleen Van Brempt . Beyond trade, the legislators agreed that EU-ASEAN strategic partnership is more important than ever.


In Bangkok, journalists & digital campaigners from Southeast and South Asia gathered for the Digital Media Roundtable by UNDP in Asia and the Pacific and EUinThailand. Under 🇪🇺 EU Service for Foreign Policy Instruments 🌐 project, EUinThailand supported 📝 training on EU sanctions for 🇹🇭 Thai Govt and private sector. Raising awareness on EU sanctions & their implementation is key to prevent potential circumvention.
