Together with Education Advocacy Network we met with Amudat district leaders in Karita sub-county and jointly agreed on strategies for successful implementation of the "From Mines To School" project including setting up mobile schools supported by Oxfam in Uganda with funding from EU in Uganda.



At Karita Sub-County, Amudat District, we engaged sub-county officials to introduce (FM2S) Project. Together with ResourceRightsAfrica , we also visited Kokwochay Village, where one of the mobile schools will be located. The LC embraced the initiative for a brighter future! EU in Uganda


Together with Education Advocacy Network we are on ground in Karamoja sub-region creating awareness to parents to take their children back to school instead of being in the mines.We use puppet theatre to dialogue on the importance of education with funding support from Oxfam in Uganda & EU in Uganda.

Together with Education Advocacy Network,we held a puppet theatre show/community dialogue at Lokalimon village,Lotisan s/county,Moroto district. The community has appreciated our go-back-to-school campaign under our "From Mines to School Project" being supported by Oxfam in Uganda and EU in Uganda.


From mines to school! 📚 In Lotisani Sub County, Education Advocacy Network in partnership with ResourceRightsAfrica and Oxfam in Uganda , is launching FM2S, EU in Uganda funded project to end child labor and get children back in school. Every child deserves an education! #EndChildLabor #FM2S



Karamoja sub-region is facing dramatic climatic conditions due to intense open cast mining by companies i.e. Tororo Cement Limited. Today,we were in Katikekile s/c to document how communities are coping under our "Green Activism" research project supported by Minority Rights Group & IDRC | CRDI



#FromMines2School Together with our partner Education Advocacy Network,we are in Moroto training Community Child Labour Committees(CCLCs)from Litisan and Katikekile sub-counties.The focus is on monitoring documentation & reporting child labour cases in the mines with support from Oxfam in Uganda
