BREAKING: Sun releases 160,000-mile long plasma filament off southwest limb

A firenado was caught on camera during the Deer Creek Fire in Utah over the weekend. No one was hurt during the phenomenon, but one fire engine sustained damage. The fire has burned more than 10,000 acres and is 0% contained, as of Monday morning.

🌋 New eruption in Iceland 🌋 An eruption began at the Sundhnúk crater range on Iceland’s Reykjanes Peninsula at 03:54, making it the 9th in the area since 2021. The fissure is nearly 2 km long but poses no immediate threat to infrastructure.
