East Lake Elementary 4th graders got to hear a reading of Hammering for Freedom read by the author Rita LorraineHubbard! It tells of William "Bill" Lewis who was born a slave in Chattanooga & used his skills as a blacksmith to work to gain his family's freedom. Thanks for sharing this story!
