The end of term is nigh and the performances have began. Yesterday Saltoun Primary & Early Years Setting held its end of year assembly in the village hall. It’s was of laughter, joy memories shared and music!!! We had performances by strings, piano and a fantastic rendition of Minuet from Water Music performed by Eliza on Trumpet. Bravo 🎺East Lothian Council Instrumental Music Service
West Barns Primary held there end of year church service today and it was fantastic!! Well done to all, and music lead by Ms Fletcher. The brass ensemble played with the senior group playing Star Wars and full ensemble with p5’s playing Cheesy feet rock!! Great job !! 🎺East Lothian Council Instrumental Music Service

What a lovely way to end the year with Ormiston Primary this morning. A packed church as the school said goodbye to the P7’s, wishing all the best at RHS. First concert of the year today for our regional wind band as they performed some Sousa marches in a concert to celebrate composer Charles Ives’ 150th Birthday as part of Lammermuir Festival A wonderful way to kick off the year! Well done to everyone involved! 🤩🥳
This week some of our senior brass, woodwind and percussion students took part in some workshops with the The Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland Everyone had a blast! We are looking forward to strengthening our links with this fab band!
