With both tanks now in situ, the loco was pulled out of the workshop to have the cab roof trial fitted.

The boiler has had the lower steel sections welded in. This being the throat plate.

The lower doorplate complete with new blowdown boss.

The side sheet now welded in place.

With the welding finished, the white areas show the areas NDT'd (crack detected).

Mac is still progressing his windows. He says they are nearly polished enough!!
