Our first Duke of Edinburgh group enjoyed watching the sunset last night. All pupils have set back out this morning, all pupils are happy and healthy!

Congratulations to Scott in S2 who won the National Secondary Schools Jewellery Design Competition. His design was cast in AgAIN Silver and will be sold at Edinburgh Zoo with all profits going to the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland (RZSS). Amazing work!

We hope that all the pupils sitting Business and also Politics exams yesterday felt they went well. Good luck to all of our pupils sitting SQA exams in Modern Studies today.

In the afternoon, we visited Port Vell, Barceloneta beach and had some lunch along the seafront. On the way home, we stopped at a few Spanish shops - El Corte Inglés, Pull & Bear, Zara and Sephora. Some tanned and happy shoppers 🛍 🇪🇸Eastwood High School

As if that was not enough, we then had an amazing prom but the prom is only a prom if there is a worm! Thank you Adam!!

Our New York trip is going well. They have been in Broadway, Empire State Building, Grand Central, you name it. Last night the Great Gatsby! I am sure they are sleeping soundly now. Young people and the staff have been absolute stars. A credit to their families and school.

New York trip - Just finished our last bit of shopping and now heading to Central Park to walk to our hotel before getting to the airport. Pupils have been phenomenal!
