In Adamawa & Yobe, severe floods harm agriculture in rain-fed farming communities. Food and Agriculture Organization's intervention through early warning dissemination, dike construction,and provision of agricultural inputs, livestock and feed is helping farmers to build resilience and safeguard livelihoods.



Food and Agriculture Organization commences training of 200 people (75% women) in Jalingo & Michika on integrated aquaculture with homestead gardening to enhance resource efficiency and food production.
