63 butterflies of 10 species were recorded on the transects Bibbeyโs Wild Farms yesterday: 19 Peacock 14 Orange Tip 7 Large White 6 Speckled Wood 5 Small White 4 Small Tortoiseshell 3 G V White 2 Red Admiral 2 Comma Painted Lady 12 species recorded on the farms so far in 2025 ๐๐ฆ

Cloud cover on my return home last night persuaded me to deploy the moth trap. 2 Buff Ermine, Marbled Orchard Tortrix NFY + Elachista atricomella, new for whole SK10 square. Best of all was a small Peregrine powering through B74 VC38 SK10 Ruth Newby EcoRecord BC Warwickshire
