Louisianans are often told our dreams are unrealistic. That’s what some said about an indigenous French immersion school in The Pointe Au Chien Tribe (PACIT). But we refused to take no for an answer, and thanks to our champions, our little bayou school is making national news. Bien fier! 🐊⚜️

Culture Camp started out great! Day 1: Our kids made garfish flowers, garfish magnets, bracelets, painted crabs and oyster shells, and got to work on the palmetto house! They also learned our tribal song and are also learning Indian French phrases!
