Exciting postdoc position available in my research group supervised with Jason Hallett | Research Associate in the Application of Ionic Liquids for Sustainable Packaging and Food Applications | Jobs | Imperial College London imperial.ac.uk/jobs/descripti…

When our trainees get ready to leave the lab to start their independent academic journey, they often ask me for advice on how to advise students. I tell them that the following four principles have guided me in my own advising journey Harvard SEAS Wyss Institute

Mercedes is on a well deserved vacation but I didn’t want her to miss out on the #BlackInChem roll call!! She’s one of the most naturally talented scientists I’ve ever met, a superstar mentor, and is crushing her PhD in Chemistry UM Chemistry (Ole Miss Chemistry) Mercedes Pride

I conquered a difficult week with a fresh blood transfusion and I am on my way to SF!! Come to my talk tomorrow 10:45 AM at the WCC-Merck Session #ACSFall2023 to see what me and my labmate Sara Edgecomb been cooking in the IL-polymer NP assembly kitchen 🙌

What an experience! I’m so grateful to Merck and ACS WCC for selecting me out of so many amazing applicants to be sponsored to speak today at #ACSFall2023 . Especially grateful for my Merck mentor Stephanie Barrett for all her constant support , and to my PI Dr Eden Tanner always

Congratulations Dr. Renée Link! Check out her paper on specifications grading with over 1000 students! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac… #chemtwitter

SO PROUD of Ava Ava d'Auvergne for her NOBCChE Official Rising Star Award! Ava is an innovator, a passionate scientist, and a key member of our team. Blessed to get to work with her! 🙌🏼

“What do you do with your place at the table?” - Dr. Mae Jemison at the NOBCChE Official 50th anniversary gala. Such a privilege to hear from a true scientific visionary. A call to action for us all.

Congrats, Sara Edgecomb! Here we explore the role electrostatics and h-bonding play in ionic liquid coatings on polymeric nanoparticles. Spoiler alert: both are important but to differing degrees depending on the chemistry of the polymer!
