Target spot (Corynespora cassiicola) Crop Protection Network can cause significant defoliation on susceptible soybean varieties. The fungus causes reddish-brown lesions, often with a concentric ring pattern and a yellow halo. The disease can also effect cotton and tomatoes #Soybean #Fungi


Cercospora Leaf Blight Crop Protection Network beginning to develop in maturing soybean fields. Symptoms 1st appear on leaves in upper canopy. Affected leaves b/c a dark purple & feel leathery. Lesions are also visible on petioles/pods. Favored by warm wet conditions #Fungi #Soybean
