There is no way back, only forward. Forward with legislation that inspires and protects the nuclear family: one man, one woman, united in marriage, bearing and raising children.

As early as tomorrow, the NC State Board of Elections could be controlled by Republicans. A three-judge panel has allowed a law to go into effect that will shift appointment power from Democratic Gov. Josh Stein to Republican Auditor Dave Boliek. #ncpol substack-proxy.glitch.me/articles/ander…

Whether we are faced with prosperity or adversity (whether for refinement or chastisement) we have the same God in both and find our resolution at the cross. Same God, same answer in all my adversity and suffering – flee to the cross.

How do we know whether the guilt for sin we sense is from the Holy Spirit or from Satan? The answer is in which direction do we face when we remorse: 1. If we face toward our sin, it is from the Accuser. 2. If we face toward the cross, it is from the Holy Spirit.

Christians must not concede to this therapeutic culture, and they must hear the right questions. From The Contemporary Counselor: “How can you be happy? Stop the suffering.” From The Biblical Counselor: “How can you be transformed into the image of Christ in the suffering?”

“And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes..." (Revelation 21:4) These tears that will be wiped away is a moment of grief that we may experience when we see Him as He is and wonder why we ever grumbled, complained or doubted Him.

Martin Luther on Eccl 7.14: “Enjoy the things that are present in such a way that you do not base your confidence on them, as though they were going to last forever … but reserve part of our heart for God, so that with it we can bear the day of adversity.”

Whether I am in ADVERSITY OR PROSPERITY, it should be the normal Christian response that the difference between the two should go largely unnoticed. I am in Christ.

For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on His behalf (Phil 1.29) "Can you imagine that the very thing we most fear to suffer, is the very thing that diminishes our fear?"

True freedom is not the right to do what we want. True freedom is the ability to do what we ought. This is the peace and rest that the Christian has found in Christ. The struggle against God has ceased and the arguments of the soul to resist God has ended.

When John MacArthur goes to heaven, there should be a mandatory memorial silence throughout the earth honoring a mighty man of God who from his labors rests.

John MacArthur was my plumb line for Truth and inspiration to always be a better man - John MacArthur, of whom the world was not worthy. Heb. 11.38

Because God is Sovereign, I am forced to ask, “To what end is God DOING this”? NOT “To what end is God PERMITTING this?” He is the active Agent in all things.

Deut. 32.39 “See now that I, I am He, and there is no god besides Me; It is I who put to death and give life. I have wounded and it is I who heal, and there is no one who can deliver from My hand.”

While we may be tempted to exalt the leadership qualities which brings great works to completion, it is God who works through faithful people. It is God Who ultimately works. Exalt God. Nehemiah 6.16
