Something unusual has happened in 1/2R this morning… a giant beanstalk has appeared in the classroom with a special message!

Year 1/2 K and R were shocked to see giant beanstalks had appeared in their classrooms today. There was a note from the giant too! Lots of exciting tasks incoming!

VE Day Celebrations 2025 Year 3/4 had a great time celebrating and creating symmetrical bunting 🥳

3/4C have had a great day of VE Day celebrations, including making bunting, party games and quite a few cakes! We hope you enjoyed!

Year 5/6CD enjoyed celebrating VE Day with an afternoon of games, lots of cake, wartime music, making paper aeroplanes and recalling key dates and fact from our Autumn term learning based on World War 2.

Reception/1K have had lots of fun over the past few weeks planting different seeds and watching them grow! We have talked about how to look after plants and have grown some lovely things to eat! #healthyconfidentindividuals

Year 5/6D enjoyed tasting, rating and discussing nutritional values of foods when investigating what would make a suitable space snack.

Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 enjoyed a talk from the RNLI yesterday afternoon learning all about keeping safe during our Summer months.

Our yr 6 pupils were lucky enough to visit USW today. They enjoyed using natural pigments to make paint & then tested it using lemon juice & bi carb water to see if it was halochromic. They even went into a lecture theatre & had a tour of the grounds. Diolch Laura & Aaron
