1/ The harsh reality is that human trafficking takes various forms and disproportionally affect women and girls. Today, I met with the team from EFry Hope and Help for Women. They told me about their ‘Empowering Against Exploitation’ project, a survivor-informed prevention initiative.

Yesterday, Minister Marco Mendicino was in #Brampton & met with EFry Hope and Help for Women to discuss how federal funding is helping prevent human trafficking in the #Peel and #Halton Region.
