Texas law failed Summer Wills, a 29-year-old who couldn’t seek justice after surviving sexual assault. Today, that changes. HB 3073, the Summer Wills Act, has passed both chambers, giving more survivors a path to justice. Proud to joint author it. Proud to stand with survivors.

SHAMEFUL: Texas just agreed to end in-state tuition for nearly 20,000 undocumented students. That’s 20k young people who contribute to our economy, our research, and our innovation. Attorney General Ken Paxton just bent the knee to fascism… again. The eyes of history are upon us.

When Trump-backed and Elon-boosted surveillance came to Austin, the community pushed back. The ALPR item was pulled this week—a tool already used to track a woman seeking an abortion. I won’t let it be used to target Austinites. Public safety matters. So do privacy and freedom.
