Pulsars donāt have to be in binaries to make #GravitationalWaves - they can produce continuous waves too. The Einstein@Home MPI GravPhys team explained how home computers are helping the search for these signals (p. 18)

If you haven't heard, GPU work is ending at MilkyWay@home . The project will continue but will be CPU only. We are recommending moving to Einstein@Home if you want to keep crunching GPU work for similar research. boincusa.com/forum/index.ph⦠#boincusa

Exciting news released by our colleagues NANOGrav PFC, European Pulsar Timing Array, InPTA, CSIRO_ATNF and Chinese Pulsar Timing Array today. Congratulations on opening up the nanohertz frequency band of #gravitationalwave astronomy!!
