See below for a fantastic postdoc opportunity with an incredible mentor and a wonderful team (though I may be *slightly* biased)! Could not recommend more 😊

Depending on how you define burnout, can range from 3.2% to 91.4%! We use monthly or more frequent symptoms definition =39%. All definitions associated with suicidal thoughts. Researchers must specify how & why they chose their definition. ja.ma/3328IoL JAMA Surgery

Please read this gorgeous, profound essay from Logan Ury. When her 32-year-old husband was diagnosed with bone cancer that required immediate amputation, they had to improvise. All of us can learn from what they did. "We Needed More Significant Others." nytimes.com/2021/01/08/sty…

What a heartwarming and moving essay by Logan Ury. An inspiring reminder of the importance of our ‘other significant others’ and finding moments of humor and joy in the face of painful life circumstances

Congrats to Brian J. Nasca, MD MS on his plenary talk! Mistreatment can be hard to talk about bc of stigma and potential for retaliation, so not surprising that people don’t talk about it more. This is the rationale for the @The_SECONDTrial program report!
