#LXLASER2024 The Lisbon Laser Symposium was an incredible experience! 🇵🇹 Presenting my work on the 'Application of PIV for the Anatomical Comparison of Healthy and Treated Aortas', as well as talking to PhDs and academics in the biomedical flows field was a brilliant opportunity.

Sport filled weekend watching UEFA Futsal Champions League group stage matches, making good connections with the Manchester FA and FA Youth Leadership team. Enjoying a visit to the national football museum too, with brilliant exhibits on female footballers including Lily Parr ⚽

Earlier this week I attended and gave a talk at the Midlands Fluids Mechanics Meeting 2024 hosted by the University of Leicester. It was really good to see how the group has expanded with academics and PhD students from a variety of universities across the Midlands.

Attended the #BioMedEng24 at Queen Mary University of London, where I presented my poster, learned about new bioengineering areas, and had great discussions with fellow LifETIME-CDT students. The conference sparked interesting conversations about the future impact of #BiomedicalEngineering in healthcare.

First home game I'm not working at in 8 years, felt great to be back in the crowd at Vicarage Road 🐝, what a rollercoaster of a match 🎢. 2 - 1 win for Watford Football Club just what we wanted on Boxing Day 🎄. #coyh #wfc
