The last time I heard 'La Vie En Rose' live was Frederica von Stade's farewell tour. Last night Elena Urioste and Tom Poster worked similar magic at through the noise #noisenight We had Prokofiev, Cecile Chaminard and a gorgeous piece from Donald Grant. A perfect evening. 1/x

A #noisenight isn't a conventional concert - it's normally standing around in a bar. This was in a club, so - for those of a certain age - it was Wheeltappers and Shunters meets Wigmore Hall. (And that's a compliment from me!) And more great music. 2/x

This didn't feel like a concert, but like being round your very talented mates who play what you want. And, yes, you got to vote on it. (I'd like to see how that went at Wigmore Hall.) And I'm just stunned by Tom Poster 's virtuosity here. 3/x '
