I feel like a broken record. It is NOT part of autism for a child to have frequent meltdowns. It *is* common for traumatized autistic kids who aren't getting their emotional & environmental needs met to have frequent meltdowns.

The "Batman Smells, Robin laid an egg, Batmobile lost a wheel and the Joker learned ballet" version of Jingle Bells is still alive and well. The kids are alright. Happy Christmas Eve to those celebrating 🎅!
