This is the New Zealand model. They privatized everything. Occasionally, citizens and government officials grumble about their regrets. DOGE sees these services as assets. They are a business opportunity.

My conversation with former Danish PM Helle Thorning S about Vice President Vance’s recent trip to Greenland, President Trump’s desire to “purchase” the territory and the future of the US-Danish alliance:

Hmmm... The U.S. can give billions in aid to Israel. The U.S. can offer support to Ukraine. The U.S. could even purchase Greenland. Clearly, the U.S. can cover reparations to Black Americans for slavery.

Clearly, reparations for slavery would not have divided the nation. Currently, the only thing dividing the nation is MAGA, Trump, and Musk.

Martin Luther King, Jr. and Thurgood Marshall didn't dismantle a system of oppression simply to let a foreign national reinstitute another system of oppression.

The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was not created to function as a shield for white supremacist ideology. Further, whites have not been subject to the violent and untenable forms of discrimination that warranted a civil rights act in the first place. #FalseEquivalent

For the record, THE HONORABLE MINISTER LOUIS FARRAKHAN warned the nation and told us so as well. Just sayin'...we are not surprised.

This is why folks have not accrued wealth. This damage can only be repaired through reparations.

That doesn't mean anything. The U.S. easily burns through $160 billion regularly. If DOGE really wanted to help the public, target the defense budget.

Losing $130 billion isn't winning. That's an opportunity cost. That's a self-inflicted wound.

Apparently, pockets are deep enough to cover reparations for slavery. If you can fundraise to support a racist, you clearly have the discretionary income for reparations.

All these actions add up to one conclusion. The Trump administration's values do not align with civil rights or inclusion. Who is hurt by naming a ship after Medgar Evers? This is petty.

Thank you Malcolm X and Rev. Jeremiah Wright for stating clearly, "America's chickens are coming home to roost."

No...Trump is simply a condescending racist. He called his peer "articulate".

Some people grew up with the Brat Pack. Black Americans in the 1980s grew up with Malcolm-Jamal Warner.

Black Americans share a common lineage and experience: Trans Atlantic slavery to the U.S.; fighting for freedom in the U.S. Civil War; persecution under Jim Crow; and the pursuit of civil rights. This is why we are one tribe (1 branch in the Diaspora). No one else can claim it.
