This is one of community mangrove restoration interventions on Pemba Island, part of the IUCN-led Bahari Mali project. Supported by the Zanzibar and Mainland Tanzania govt and funded by the Irish Embassy Dar . The project aims to protect coastal areas and support local livelihoods.
