I’ve got first round post-reno at Quarry Oaks next Monday with my guy Jeff Peterson so my goal this week is to relearn how to hit a ball more than 15 feet high with an iron. Ts and Ps appreciated.

What I said: “Babe my new wedges are in. I’d like to go hit them and practice a little after work.” What I meant: “Babe I know you’ve worked like 7 of the last 8 nights at the hospital on very little sleep. I’ll be home to take care of everything right after work.”

Really great day with my guy Jeff Peterson and his boys at the newly renovated Quarry Oaks Bravo to John LaFoy and team. Everything that needed to be done there was. Widened in the right places. Great views opened up. Superb all around.
