I think about this sign almost every day.

One of my year 9s today told me, “Be careful in the winds tomorrow Miss Scott. I don’t want you to blow away and die, I’d cry my eyes out”.

Y5 were ENRAGED this morning when they walked in to find the chairs had quit!! Sitting on the floor for English was not fun but we soon earned them back with our persuasive writing skills. What a way to start our new writing unit!!

It just makes it all worth it!

I can’t remember if I was this tired last year or not! 2 weeks left…

Today was my first time decorating a Christmas tree all by myself. It was very therapeutic I must say!

Today at school I fell over, on concrete, in front of about 50 students. Instead of the laughing I feared, they were all very concerned to check that I was okay (I am fine). My faith in teenagers has been restored.

I’m a teacher and I am striking today because I want a fully funded pay rise for all teachers that won’t come at the cost of loosing the resources we have. Students deserve better!

I am that tired. I just tried to get into school with my front door key in my hand and not my fob! 🫠

Is it excessive to bring 8 books on a week long holiday? I think not!

I’m sooo beyond happy at my new school!! Best decision I’ve ever made!
