I’ve seen 32 patients today Almost 1/3 had Covid symptoms Only 1 had done a PCR test Covid isn’t over. Rates are sky high & hospital admissions are increasing at an alarming rate. Pretending it doesn’t exist is not working. WHERE IS THE GOV PUBLIC HEALTH MESSAGING?!

At the beginning of a workshop or meeting, participants often have different starting points, views or positions so it can feel like chaos. It's the job of the facilitator to help draw the ideas through the chaos into consolidated thinking. By Tash based on Sam Kaner

Research shows people tend to count results that don't meet targets as losses, even if they were gains. Think about the much quoted "70% of change projects fail". An improvement mindset sees success as improving from where we started, not just hitting the target. Via Adam Grant

To my fellow #NHS managers, admin staff & office workers, your roles are critical in helping manage the patient backlogs, organise the clinical sessions, support our clinical staff to focus on patient care (not on organisational tasks) without you, things would fall apart

📺 Tune in to BBC London this evening at 6:30pm to hear Captain Neil Jeffers and Medical Director, Tom Hurst, talk about our charity’s biggest ever appeal - we must raise an additional £15 million to replace our helicopters by Autumn 2024. Karl Mercer

Great to hear from @BartsHospital about how structured board rounds & the process has helped improve discharges & communication through digital use 💡Some create roles & responsibilities that could be tested anywhere! Quality Forum #Quality2024
