The BBC has indefinitely delayed what I am reliably informed is a searingly powerful film about the destruction of Gaza's health system because bosses are "terrified" in the wake of the furore over "How To Survive A Warzone". Abject. /1 thetimes.com/uk/media/artic…

Those claiming that Labour just needs to copy Reform in order to beat it should take a minute to consider some simple and obvious facts about actual Labour voters.

On this basis, it seems unlikely that the proposed tightening of eligibility for PIP will achieve much other than causing further hardship for a group struggling the most since the pandemic. Link to the full analysis here: neweconomics.org/2025/05/whats-…

Ellen Clifford You’re all heroes in my eyes—thank you from the depths of my heart. On a side note, I’m relieved someone finally educated our MPs, clarifying the vital differences between WCA and PIP assessments, and LCWRA and PIP benefits. Far too many MPs remain utterly clueless.

This is shocking. This is a copy of a book that MPs of all colours are reading. Its a factual book. Hope all affected are OK now.

We gatecrashed the DWP Green Paper event in MCR today & made them consult on the whole Green Paper and that we reject it totally. You may have seen it on the news. Our message to the UK: find the event near you, gatecrash it, make them listen. #NothingAboutUsWithoutUs

Falconer doing badly at answering Victoria Derbyshire Qs on anorexia loophole. So pleased she asked this but would've been good 2 point out young women with anorexia r routinely labelled as terminal now even when they can recover & r denied support 2 live. #AssistedDying

Strong points from the President of the Royal College of Psychiatrists on BBC Newsnight about flaws in the assisted dying bill that DDPOs have been raising such as lack of access 2 psychological support & inappropriate test for mental capacity. #AssistedDying

Pleased to see our research being referenced last week in the Get Britain Working: Pathways to Work session during the Work and Pensions Select Committee. Watch the full viewing here: parliamentlive.tv/event/index/25… Some important conversations being had. Thank you Ellen Clifford for

Emma Bray clearly needs urgent psychological support and suicide prevention. She needs care. Parading her wish to end her life as an expression of rational choice is exploitative. channel4.com/news/assisted-… #AssistedDying DPAC Paula Peters Liz "blue tick" Carr Michael Lorimer

How enormously offensive from Rantzen. Disabled people understand clearly who is and isn't affected and we are clear what the very real risks this bill poses. Our concerns are 4 all terminally ill ppl, Disabled ppl who become terminal/acquire terminal illness & ppl w anorexia.
