Being new to cattle farming on sth coast, what % of pasture area do farmers lock up to cut hay ? It increases SR on the rest of the farm, thins cut area the next season ( re-seed $). Often gets rained on after cutting and lots not fed out. Is a % of kike a living haystack ?
