The Embassy of Japan in Ireland expresses sincere condolences on the passing of Mrs Yoshiko Ushioda, former curator of Chester Beatty. In addition to her work as curator, she contributed greatly to bilateral exchanges. Our thoughts and deepest sympathy are with Mrs Ushioda’s family.
