Rusheen McDonald won his first ever Jamaican National 400m title in 44.89. Though he eased up before the line and just missed out on the World Champs qualifying standard of 44.85, he plans to get on the circuit over the next few weeks to hopefully claim the standard

Orlando Bennett clocked a 13.10 to win his first ever 110mH title at Jamaican Trials, his 2nd fastest time ever. But he knows this is just a stepping stone towards his ultimate goal of being ready to compete with with the best at the World Champs in Tokyo later this summer.

There's a very good argument that the 10 years between 1987-1996 was the greatest era in men's 100m sprinting. This is one of those memorable races from that era.

Syd's options for World Champs: 400H: ▶️Easier path to gold ▶️Can target first ever sub-50 sec 400H mark 400m: ▶️Tough, but more interesting, path to gold vs Paulino, Naser, etc. ▶️Unfinished business after injury before 2023 Worlds ▶️Can target American Record & (maybe) sub-48

Noah's first race since April and he'll be racing Letsile Tebogo, Alex Ogando, Jereem Richards & Maka Charamba. Tebogo did come back from injury and dropped 19.76, so I wouldn't put it past Noah being capable of something fast too. But this will be a VERY interesting 200m👀
