New paper out in Social Problems! 🎉🎉🎉 Through a qual case study, I examine how privatization influences the way marginalized groups experience the US social safety net and find mixed consequences for stigma, paternalism, and disentitlement. More here: doi.org/10.1093/socpro…

A new Social Forces paper that shows FQHCs improved health care access for undocumented workers in the US is also the story of T32 postdocs coming together. Emily Parker said this work, with Dr. Courtney Boen, PhD, MPH and Rebecca Anna Schut, emerged out of a PAA practice talk session.
