Shaun Lintern Not surprising the GMC are unable to protect the public and untouchable. They mark their own homework and get away with it! Wes Streeting something drastic need to happen

After 2 days of intense meetings, I’m disgusted to say nothing has changed at either Trust involved in mine and Grace’s care. 3 years of false promises of improvement, yet we’re still in the same place. Maternity services must do better, or more babies will die like Grace.

Which platforms are they then ? Because lots of Nottingham families would like to engage with you but it feels impossible. Barrier after barrier.

A peony and a cake for our beautiful Norah's 6th birthday yesterday. We spent it, as always, in nature. I don't think time heals but I think having more of the truth is bringing some peace we didn't have before. We celebrated her, together.

..And yet Wes Streeting stays silent about 1 baby dying every 11 hours in the UK, which are AVOIDABLE deaths. Why is nobody talking about this????? šŸ¤” My daughter Norah would’ve 6 years old yesterday. I’m not saying that the below is not important, it is…… no words #babyloss

Narrative verdict. "delays before a Caesarean-section eventually took place had ā€˜on the balance of probabilities contributed to [baby Ayla]'s poor outcome and death’." google.com/amp/s/www.dail…

Today our beautiful daughter should be 9 yrs old. Every year that passes is just as painful. Just like every year that passes, I couldn’t be more proud of her šŸ’—#safermaternity

Emily Barley I don't know. Obstetrician wants to wait. Midwives don't want to wait but also do not call consultant in charge/seek a second obstetric opinion.

charles crosland Emily Barley A disturbing aspect is the fact that the parents weren't told about the abnormal heart trace. "We were not made aware of any concerns with Ayla's health until she was delivered floppy, pale and not breathing." google.com/amp/s/www.dail… 1/

Catherine Roy (@catherineroyuk) 's Twitter Profile Photo

charles crosland Emily Barley What is the thinking behind not informing the parents that there is a problem? That they would not want to wait and would prefer to request an immediate caesarean? That being aware of concerns would worry the mother and fear is bad for the baby? 2/

Catherine Roy Emily Barley This is almost exactly what happened to our baby in Hereford 30 years ago he survived brain damaged 11 year later NHS admitted negligence So sad it goes on still

Fiona Winser-Ramm (@fionawinserramm) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Catherine Roy charles crosland Emily Barley This is exactly what happened to us. All the facts were not only withheld from us but my medical records were also simultaneously falsified every 30 minutes as the ā€œyesā€ box was continually ticked when answering the question - ā€œhave parents been informed of the findings?ā€

Catherine Roy charles crosland Emily Barley At inquest, Coroner asked one of the midwives who hadn’t informed me why - she claimed it was because I was in pain and that it was the culture amongst staff. The Coroner pointed out that my husband was present and when asked why she didn’t tell him instead, she couldn’t answer.

3 years ago today was the last time we saw Grace. We were too afraid to hold her, her body had changed so much. We left some special teddies, Arron’s necklace, my childhood fairy, a photo of us & one of Zeus. I rarely cover her face but this one’s just for us. My heart aches.

ā€œHowever, as much as we don’t want another family to go through what we have, we did not have Nova for the NHS to learn from.ā€ This is absolutely heartbreaking - thinking of Nova & her family after finding of neglect at inquest. brightonandhovenews.org/2025/04/21/nhs…

It is incredibly worrying and frustrating that we STILL don't have a plan for maternity care but budgets are nevertheless being cut. Families whose babies were killed by NHS negligence were told there would be an announcement on maternity in December. That was delayed, and now

These comments from Dr Caroline Johnson MP are deeply insulting. The lived experiences of countless women, stark maternal and infant mortality rates, and the fact that black women/babies are almost twice as likely to have their deaths investigated all point to one thing. Structural racism
