The BSc Year 2 OT students got hands-on with a range of equipment in their skills consolidation session. From manual handling hoists, stand aids & transfer equipment to wheelchairs, bathing equipment & small aids. GERT suits were also used to simulate the effects of older age.

At the start of the month, final year student (now graduate) Rik Thornton represented the programme & School of Health Sciences UEA at the Advance HE Teaching & Learning conference 2025. Rik was part of the student panel representing healthcare students & mature learners 👏💚
