📻 This morning I spoke to Matt Bailey BBC North East to discuss Trussell's report on poverty and rising food insecurity in the UK. The Government must address this urgently.

Alongside colleagues from across the House, I've written to the PM calling for the 2-child benefit cap to be abolished. The evidence is now overwhelming - it entrenches poverty, punishes families for their circumstances & undermines the futures of thousands of children.
