As one of the first townhouses built on Dublin’s first Georgian Sq, No. 11 Parnell Sq is a historically significant 250 year old building that has many layers of history & a rich tapestry of stories to tell. Delighted to share some of these stories with Minister Malcolm Noonan

Great to have our launch featured in the The Irish Times pictures of the day. Great job @nickbradshaw 📸 irishtimes.com/gallery/photog…

The melodies and stories thoughtfully woven through ‘In The Midst of Plenty’ are the merging of archive material from the collection National Famine Museum | Strokestown Park with music and a powerful human story from the height of the #GreatFamine. #FamineCommemoration youtu.be/dw3E6Lz1THs

Just booked and can’t wait to attend the #Petrykivka painting workshops in National Famine Museum | Strokestown Park this summer. A fantastic opportunity to learn a unique style of ornamental painting recognised by Unesco. Roll on July!

What an absolute treat to be shown around Newbridge House & Farm by @CathalDS today. A truly impressive collection that is combined with thoughtful touches of well-placed interpretation.

So pleased I got to see ‘In the Midst of Plenty’ in the MullingarArtsCentre-Centre For The Performing Arts tonight. A really powerful & evocative portrayal of the Great Irish Famine told through the lens of the stories behind National Famine Museum | Strokestown Park & National Famine Way. The standing ovation was so well deserved 👏

Proud to announce that the #FamineMuseum National Famine Museum | Strokestown Park and Tandem Design have been shortlisted for the 2023 Engaging People Awards by the AHI for heritage interpretation. More about the project👉tandemdesign.co.uk/strokestown-fa…

Always exciting when I get to work with artists & bring new exhibitions to our Irish Heritage Trust properties. Here’s a sneak peek from the install of Joe McCaul’s large-scale ceramic sculpture exhibition, The Potato People, opening this week National Famine Museum | Strokestown Park.

Delighted I got to dust off my paintbrushes this afternoon & attend the first of four workshops National Famine Museum | Strokestown Park on the art of petrykivka painting with Ukrainian artist-in-residence Olena Kovalevych. A beautifully intricate art form that is not easy to master 😅
