How to realistically teach children about what medical training is like? Make them stay up all night playing with their doctor's bag. Take away their pocket money. Make them sit more exams. Thought-provoking but humourous answers from @CChallifour at #SOA22

Trauma brings silence because it feels like there are no words to adequately describe what happened. Trauma brings emotional darkness and isolation because it feels like no one cares and no one could possibly understand.

Merry Christmas to all those working in the NHS today Many staff in the NHS are grossly underpaid (even on Christmas day๐Ÿ‘‡) but none more so than Junior Doctors who frequently graduate with >ยฃ100k debt RT to support them & ask government to pay them ALL fairly #PayRestoration

We have few safety specialists in the NHS. People lack the training you see in other industries to deal with problems. Avoidance is the safer bet. Over-promoted managers lack expertise and aren't supported. Failing upwards and sidewards is a common complaint 7/9
