Dr. Blerta Xhemalçe Joins Biochemistry faculty as Associate Professor, September 2024. The Xhemalçe lab studies how epigenetic modifications regulate the expression of genetic information from DNA to RNA to proteins. Also joining lab: Brandon Chiou, ​Yi-Ru Li, Joshuah Nguyen.
