The International African American Museum in South Carolina is worth visiting! The solemn experience begins from the outdoor grounds and continues inside with an amazing display of historical information. Their artifacts and exhibitions are both sobering and inspirational.

I had a wonderful experience at the International African American Museum "Wrapped in Heritage" program where myself and other participants learned about the history and cultural significance of African headwraps.
