Thank you Congressman Raul Ruiz, M.D.. Hep C is one of the leading causes of liver cancer. It’s also linked to non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, cancer in the bile ducts, and possibly pancreatic and head and neck cancers. We have a 'cure' for hep C. Even afterwards, screening for cancers is vital.

Community stakeholders have made significant strides in reducing hepatitis C cases. Since 2019, there's been a noticeable decline, with confirmed or suspected chronic cases dropping from 4,249 to 2,298 by 2023. Yet, new model shows more needs to be done. mdpi.com/1999-4915/16/1…

AB 1460 by Chris Rogers and Assemblymember Chris Ward isn’t about patients - it’s about profits. Amendments are urgently needed to ensure patients benefit from #340B. sfchronicle.com/opinion/openfo…

Assembly Bill #AB1460 was introduced to ‘fix’ the program, but it does more harm than good. It fails to ensure that #340B savings go directly to patients. capitolweekly.net/expanding-brok…
