So I’ve been off Twitter as busy at Lakeland 100 for a few days. It took me 10 minutes of searching on my phone to get onto Twitter as it’s been replaced by a black X…. Shows how slow I am to the social media game 🤷‍♂️

Super day at Longton show with girls, mum and dad. Paris behaved for both of them and we came home with rosettes! Girls had a great time, only third time at Longton and they’ve already made lots of friends! Off to White Lion for celebration tea 💪

Super day at Chillswim Windermere. Hector Pardoe broke the Windermere record and hundreds of people achieved their bucket list goal ❤️

Lakeland 50 ballot now done, 4400 applicants and a big increase in first time ladies. In 2024, the invitations sent will see a 50% male and 50% female start line. First time we’ve ever managed this in 17 years and first time for any major ultra? Anywhere? Ever?

Interesting night… a bat flew into the house and I sat until midnight with the back door open, all lights off and a torch at back door to guide it out. 3 hours doing laps of downstairs and skimming my head until it finally exited the door 🙄

Rudy mini-cob now old enough to be ridden. First time last night with bridle on and bit in mouth, didn’t flinch. Put saddle on, didn’t flinch. Walked round field, he was super calm. Elsie jumped on, Rudy not bothered. Elsie… well she’s already dreaming of glory 😂

3 years ago to the day since we started, not knowing whether it would fall on its arse… 55,185 children later, we’re still gaining momentum 💪

Great day out at Horse of the Year Show with spud 1 & 2. Highlight was the inspirational 68 year old John Whittaker winning the show jumping … I’ve got 17 years yet to make it 👍

Super morning at Thompson House with the old girl, 4th in the dressage, so close to third, girls were there attending pony club but came into arena to watch … White Lion later … standard ❤️
