Great final rehearsal with EnglishBaroqueChoir last night. Concert on Saturday should be a cracker!

Today I had the pleasure of working with a US choir on tour here in the UK (tomorrow they’re performing at Southwark Cathedral and it’s going to be great). During the afternoon, I was able to share with them the news about BBC Singers BBC #wearethebbcsingers #valleyhighschool

Felt v privileged to catch the end of this masterclass. Characteristically wonderful music making and a chance to reflect on how important these sessions were for my own conducting development. The next gen of conductors also deserve this opportunity. Thanks BBC Singers

Last night was our final rehearsal for Verdi's Requiem. Tonight we perform at The Barbican. We support BBC Singers. #WeAreTheBBCSingers

#WeAreTheBBCSingers #savethebbcsingers From last night’s rehearsal of Israel in Egypt EBC wanted to show #solidarity with the amazing BBC Singers. We are appalled by the BBC’s shocking planned closure of this inspiring ensemble. #werebukethem #keepsinging

Very proud of EnglishBaroqueChoir for a stonking rendition of #IsraelinEgypt last night @StJohnsSmithSq. Top colleagues in Endelienta Baroque @angharadmezzo, Ellen Mawhinney and Harry Ross all helped to make it an exceptionally fun flap for me!

Still can't quite believe I get to conduct Bach's B Minor Mass on Saturday Cadogan Hall alongside some totally awesome musicians - so much hard work has gone in to this Thames Philharmonic Choir and I'm sure it'll be cracking! cadoganhall.com/whats-on/thame…

Yes, we have been spared the axe at BBC Singers and it's thanks to YOU! Every single person who lent their voice. THANK YOU! But this is only the start and we will fight on to secure our future and those of our orchestral colleagues. Keep shouting 💪💪💪 #WeAreTheBBCSingers

Huge congratulations to former #GenesisSixteen Genesis Foundation conducting scholar Harry Bradford for being made an Associate of Royal Academy of Music - what a fantastic achievement, something we're not surprised about at all, as Harry is doing amazing things with his career. Bravo! 🎶🌟👏
