All fantastic projects, and an amazing achievement to have been shortlisted in such a competitive category! The Engaging for Health & Wellbeing Award is for colleagues who engage to create a world in which we all live healthier, happier and longer lives

All three of these shortlisted nominees have engaged with local businesses, generating an impressive accumulative sum of +£1.3 million for the local economy, with further impacts on sustainability, and student employability!

These nominees have engaged with communities on our doorstep and all the way to South East Asia, with significant impacts on the lives & livelihoods of those involved. This new category celebrates projects adding value to our society and tackling global environmental challenges.

These fantastic exhibitions, which took place at three of our city's wonderful cultural organisations, are being recognised for their contribution to the vibrancy and cultural richness of our region!

This category recognises projects that inform policy through research, teaching and knowledge exchange. These three shortlisted projects have made huge steps in changing policy, whilst exploring challenges created by contemporary societal, economic, and environmental issues.

The Inclusive Education & Lifelong Learning Award celebrates collaborative projects with external partners that enrich the learning experience & knowledge of our students and learners. These projects are fantastic examples of enhanced & empowered learning within our student body!

Its wonderful to see engagement being embedded in the early stages of these researchers' careers and the impact they have generated by doing so! A real variety in practice in this year's ECR shortlist, and all very worthy winners!
